ArtDirector AI ("we", "us", "the app") is an AI-powered training hub for artists. It generates studio art briefs, gives AI feedback on portfolio images, offers AI tutoring, and tracks your learning progress. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

The app does not use advertising or analytics trackers, does not process payments, and does not ask for your location, contacts, microphone or camera.
2. Google user data
We use Google Sign-In (through Firebase Authentication) only to authenticate you. The app requests the basic profile information needed for sign-in: your name, email address, profile photo and account identifier.
- We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts or any other Google service data.
- We use this information only to sign you in, tie your saved data to your account, and show your profile in the app.
- We do not sell Google user data, share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising or to build advertising profiles.
- We do not transfer it to third parties except the service providers listed in section 5 that are needed to run the app, or where the law requires it.
- No person reads your account data unless you ask us for support, it is needed for security or abuse prevention, or the law requires it.
3. How we use your information
- To authenticate you and provide access to your account.
- To generate briefs, tutoring answers, drills and portfolio feedback that you request.
- To save and show your progress, saved briefs and review history.
- To keep the app secure, diagnose problems and prevent abuse.
4. AI processing and uploaded images
To produce AI responses, the app sends your inputs to Google's Gemini API. Depending on the feature, this includes your chosen role and experience level, theme text, questions you type to the tutor, and any portfolio image you upload for review. Uploaded images are held in your browser while the review is requested and are not saved to your account; only the resulting feedback text is stored. Please avoid uploading images or entering text that contains sensitive personal information. How Google handles data sent to the Gemini API is described in Google's own terms and privacy documentation.
5. Service providers who process data
We rely on the following providers to run the app. Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) for sign-in and storing your data.
- Google Gemini API for generating AI responses from the content you submit.
- Vercel for hosting the app and serving its pages.
- Google Fonts for typefaces used in the interface, which means your browser contacts Google's servers.
We do not share your personal information with other third parties except where required by law.
6. Cookies and browser storage
Firebase Authentication stores sign-in session information in your browser's storage so that you stay signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear this storage at any time in your browser settings, which will sign you out.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete saved briefs and their linked review threads from within the app. To have your account and all associated data deleted, email us at eniolaolawale317@gmail.com from the address on your Google account and we will delete it within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS, and account data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, which applies its own security controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
- You can choose not to upload images or enter personal details into AI features.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
- You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account's security settings.
10. Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International use
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. By using the app you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
